Energy has seasons. Forcing one season's plan onto another is the root of chronic exhaustion.

Most advice online never says which age it is written for. Yet the body, responsibilities and people to care for at 25, 35 and 45 are completely different. Age-paced energy means planning your energy around the season you are actually in.
20s — the exploring season: invest in trial and error
High physical energy, low obligations. This is the time to spend energy trying several paths, learning skills and getting to know yourself. Mistakes are cheapest now — do not fear them too much.
30s — the building season: choose narrow, go deep
Obligations grow (work, family, finances) but energy is still there. The trap is still doing everything like in your 20s and spreading yourself thin. This decade is for cutting out more than adding in, and choosing the field you will truly master.
40s+ — the harvesting season: use experience instead of force
Physical energy declines, but experience and network peak. The right plan does less yet yields more through sharper decisions and delegation. If you still run on raw effort like in your 30s, the body will send warnings.
How to know which season you are really in
The number is not the whole story. Some are 32 with the load of a 45-year-old; some are 45 and starting fresh. An energy reading looks at real power, time and load, then sets a pace that fits you alone.
- Write every responsibility you carry on one page — that is your true season
- Ask which age the plan you are using was designed for
- Adjust the pace, not the dream
